The following Quantity Surveying Services can be provided by the Firm on any project of whatever nature, and whatever method of procurement is adopted.
Inception / Brief:
- Liaison with client and other Consultants to determine client initial requirements and subsequent development of the full brief
- Advice on selection of other consultant(s) if not already appointed,
- Advice on implications of proposed project and liaise with other exoerts such as Lawyers and Accountants in developing such advice.
- Liaise with other interested parties such as preservation societies, historic building societies, etc.
General and Continuing Services:
- Attend meetings with:
* Client and Client representative * Other Consultants * Third Parties * Contractor (including regular site meetings) - Prepare regular and specific reports for:* Client * Project Team * Third Parties
- Advise upon the financial implications to the client of all matters pertaining to the project including: * Tax Liabilities * Capital Allowance * Government Supports * Imposed Cost Limits and Yardsticks
- Advice on the effect of inflation on project cost.
